FAO Animal Production and Health Division (NSA)

The NSA Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations supports member countries to strengthen the contribution of the livestock sector towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – as animal rearing on farms can be particularly effective at reducing hunger and poverty.

The Division endeavours to facilitate the participation of all livestock producers – large and small – to grow the sector, especially in developing countries.
