Virtual (26 - 30 September 2022)
This was the annual gathering of the Livestock Data for Decisions (LD4D) community. This year's series of online meetings, workshops and conversations helped members connect, learn and collaborate through thematic sessions that address critical topics for livestock development. The meeting was open to existing members and any data producers, data users, advocates, and other actors who are committed to drive informed livestock decision-making.
Virtual (9 December 2021)
The online meeting offered members an opportunity to learn about the latest livestock data innovations, share their latest work, and connect with other members of the community.
Virtual (19 October 2020)
In October 2020, the LD4D Community met to take stock of achievements and agree on a roadmap for the next phase of work (2021 and beyond).
Rome, Italy (4-6 February 2020)
The last LD4D Community of Practice meeting was hosted by the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) in Rome.

Hanoi, Vietnam (28-30 November 2018)
The CoP met in Hanoi, Vietnam to take stock on progress to date, debate big questions in the livestock data sphere, and discuss the community’s collective role in addressing these.

Naivasha, Kenya (February 2018)
The CoP met in Naivasha, Kenya to share progress on key initiatives and discuss new working groups.
Edinburgh, UK (June 2017)
This meeting was designed around the needs of the community and focused on ensuring that LD4D outputs brought benefits to each member. A lively 2.5 day meeting resulted in a clear list of tasks for LD4D and a refocusing of the community away from the creation of a LD4D database toward a data portal and knowledge platform.
Rome, Italy (January 2017)
The core team of the Supporting Evidence-Based Interventions project met with a range of global livestock research for development stakeholders in Rome on 25-26 January 2017. The meeting served to launch the SEBI project but also to think through the options for establishing a Community of Practice for the global livestock data community.
