With over 1,600 professionals across the globe, LD4D has evolved from an information broker to a dynamic force driving sustainable livestock development.
Key Achievements in 2024
In 2024, our diverse network of experts transformed how we leverage data and evidence to create meaningful impact. We accomplished the following actions:
- Launched new LD4D Impact Statement emphasizing our commitment to sustainable and inclusive livestock systems, with a strong focus on gender equality
- Initiated two new Solutions Groups: Climate Finance and Livestock Solutions Group, and the Feed Baskets Group
- Established the Digital Innovations for Livestock Data workstream
- Maintained a thriving Gender & Livestock Data Community of Practice
- Enhanced LD4D member experience and communication channels
