Investigating the evidence behind popular livestock facts

In 2018, the LD4D community decided to work together to address common facts and misconceptions about the livestock sector, particularly in low-and middle-income countries. The objective of this effort was to help ensure that facts relevant to the livestock sector are robust, up-to- date and appropriately interpreted, resulting in better-informed discussions around these topics.

The resulting factsheets were reviewed by members of the LD4D community, and the factsheets helped inform discussions with the LD4D network and beyond.
