LD4D 2025 Annual Meeting recap: watch the sessions and explore what's next

This year’s member gathering celebrated collaborations, impact and innovation.

On 4 December, 122 LD4D members and partners gathered for our annual virtual community meeting. We looked back at our diverse collaborations from the past year, heard from members about the value and impact of taking part in joint activities, and celebrated our achievements!

Summary and Key Takeaways

This year, we celebrated the remarkable progress of our three Solutions Groups - on Digital Services for Methane Management, Gender & Livestock Modelling, and Feed Baskets. Each is generating concrete outputs that advance both knowledge and practice.

Collaborative tools

We've seen how LD4D facilitates collaborative outputs like "Bending the Emissions Curve" and the Environmental Assessment Tools Dashboard - resources that serve the entire community and beyond.

Consultations

We explored how our Consultation processes rapidly mobilize expertise to address critical evidence gaps, as demonstrated by the Livestock Disease Evidence consultation.

Your community, our collective impact

Most importantly, we heard from members themselves about the value these collective action mechanisms create – for individual practitioners, researchers, and organisations; for the network as a whole; and for our efforts to transform livestock systems.

This is what LD4D is all about: transforming connection into collaboration, and collaboration into concrete solutions for sustainable livestock systems.

As we look toward 2026, we want to expand on our successes. Your continued engagement shapes where we go next as a collective. Thanks to everyone who took part!
